2025 EVENT UPDATE
An atmospheric river hit the Rancho San Fernando Rey over the weekend dumping over 13 inches of rain on the area. This largescale rain event has not been seen on the ranch since 1965. As our team explored the ranch while preparing for the race, it became clear that hosting a large trail running event in these conditions would not allow for us to safely deliver an amazing runner experience. This has led us to make the difficult decision to cancel this weekend’s HOKA Pacific Trails California by UTMB. As always, the safety of our runners, volunteers, event team, and first responders was our top priority in making this tough decision.
Runners should have received an email with their options moving forward, given the event cancellation.
